Overview
The Level 7 Diploma in International Business Law is a postgraduate-level qualification designed to equip learners with advanced knowledge of legal principles in the context of international business. Entry Requirements
Applicants should normally hold one of the following:
- An honours degree in a relevant subject
- A UK Level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
- Mature learners (21+) with relevant legal or business experience may also be considered
Applicants whose first language is not English may be required to provide evidence of English language proficiency.
Equivalences
This qualification is positioned at RQF Level 7, the same academic level as a Master’s degree in the UK. It carries 120 credits. To achieve a full Master’s degree, learners typically complete an additional 60-credit dissertation with a recognised university.
Qualification Structure
The programme consists of six mandatory units, totalling 120 credits, 1,200 Total Qualification Time (TQT), and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).

- Law and Financial Crimes
- Company Law
- Legal Research Methods
Duration and Delivery
The programme is designed for completion over one academic year (full-time). Flexible part-time and blended learning options may also be available.
At LCIE College, the course will be delivered through a mix of lectures, seminars, tutorials, and online learning tools.
The programme will commence only upon formal confirmation of approval.
Assessment and Verification
All units will be assessed through coursework-based assignments. There are no final exams. Assessments are internally marked and externally verified in accordance with awarding body guidelines.
Learners must meet all learning outcomes and assessment criteria to achieve a pass.

- A Master’s degree top-up at a UK university (dissertation stage)
