The Level 5 Extended Diploma in Cyber Security is accredited by OTHM, an Ofqual-regulated awarding body.
Entry requirements
Learners typically require a Level 4 IT qualification or equivalent experience. English language evidence may be required.
Equivalences
Equivalent to the second year of a UK bachelor’s degree or the HND Degree.

- 12 Mandatory units
• 240 credits
• TQT: 2400 hours
• GLH: 1200 hours
Duration and delivery

Requirements
- Age Typically aged 18 and above
- If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country, they must provide evidence of English language competency. For more information, learners should visit the English Language Expectations page on the OTHM website.
- Relevant Level 3 Qualification or equivalent qualification
- GCE Advanced level in 3 subjects or equivalent qualification
- Mature learners (over 21) with relevant management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme).
